ABOUT US
Who we are
Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) was organized in 1888 as a national organization and now has groups all over the world. Our objectives have remained the same:
* To learn about missions and missionaries
* To pray for missionaries and their children
* To give to mission causes (promote 4 main offerings yearly)
* To be involved in projects to share the gospel
* To participant in the work of the church
* To develop mission leaders
Our local WMU strives to meet the objectives of the National Organization by inspiring and equipping women here in our area to influence the World for Christ.
Missions: Missional Response to the World’s Needs
We hold fast to Christ’s command in Scripture to live a missional lifestyle. We educate children, students, and adults about missions, provide connecting points for practical mission ideas and opportunities, and offer meaningful experiences to deepen their relationship with Christ.

Leadership: Development of Missional Leaders
We value the Spirit of God at work in and through people of all ages as they use their voice to positively impact the Kingdom of God. We offer mission-centered leadership training, develop leadership abilities, and provide opportunities to lead.

Our mission is to partner with and strengthen churches to advance the Kingdom of God and to meet needs in the community.
Our vision is to be a regional network of healthy churches that are innovative and intentionally sharing the Gospel, making disciples and connecting with their community
